Health Authority (HA) of residence (contains the District Health Authority of residence prior to 1 April 2025). This derived field contains the code for the HA in which the patient lived immediately before admission. Resha is derived from the patient's postcode in the field homeadd. (This may not be the area where treatment took place (hatreat).) If homeadd is not recognised, resha may be derived from the health authority of residence notified by the hospital (har). From 2002-03 information relating to the strategic health authority of residence is available. |
