We publish comparative performance information, provide statistical analytical tools and deliver indicators, methodologies and data, covering the spectrum of health and social care activities. These range from detailed level data on hospital episodes (HES), through to community and mental health (MHMDS), primary care (QOF), dental activity, population health, clinical audit and social care information.

We lead on the development of data and information standards and ensure data quality is fit for purpose in terms of consistency, relevance, timeliness and accuracy.
