Miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy

Miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies which resulted in a hospital stay.

Miscarriage is the spontaneous loss of a pregnancy before 24 weeks. Ectopic (tubal) pregnancy occurs when the fertilized egg implants outside the uterus, usually in one of the Fallopian tubes (oviducts).
